All of the students made me so very proud by doing their very best learning the game/skills of basketball. I was extremely happy to see how grades K-2 worked and played together so well. The older grades also did a great job learning new skills and improving on skills learned in the past. We have now completed our basketball unit and are moving on to other exciting things.
Coach Cameron's classes will be starting flag football this week. All the classes will be going out to the field to start with the basics of flag football. The younger grades will be focusing on learning how to move through space appropriately without making contact with others. We will play a number of fun games related to football geared towards this goal. The older grades will learn different passing patterns for flag football.
All of this equals fun for everyone.

Making Baskets
Coach Cameron's classes have been having a great time practicing dribbling and passing the basketball. As always, we will continue to work on sharing and playing together in the game of basketball. The younger grades will be learning how to get the basketball up and over the basketball rim. They will also learn to use the backboard when attempting to make a basket. The older kids will be playing modified games of basketball that focus on team work and sportsmanship. It great to see all of the kids doing their best and learning new things each day. Keep up the good good work

Sunny Days
We are going to have a lot of fun outside this week. The forecast is for sunny mostly sunny days with a very low chance of rain. Mr. Cameron's classes are continuing to play and learn about the game of basketball. The younger kids are having a great time learning to dribble and pass the basketball around the court. They are all doing so well with following instructions and being kind to each other while they play. The older kids are working on using the correct form for shooting and laying up the basketball. We are also finishing up fitness testing due to all the rain we received last week. Lets hope the days stay sunny, and the good times keep rolling on!!
